The WWE Diva has labelled the charge in Rolling Stone magazine as “bulls***” and “false, false, false”, amid counter-claims of there being a second girl of the same name.

Ashley fumed: “Don’t believe it for a second. I’m beyond upset.”

However the journalist who broke the story insists the WrestleMania star WAS part of a seedy LA escort service, run by Michelle ‘Nici’ Braun, busted by the FBI last year.

Rolling Stone Contributing Editor Michelle Grigoriadis said: “Obviously, I stand by my story.

“Massaro is named in an FBI search warrant that was executed on Braun’s property in October, 2007.

“I have no knowledge of another woman by the same name.”

According to the FBI investigation, Braun’s illegal Bella Models firm was made up of Playboy, Maxim and pornography stars who ‘dated’ clients including top American sportsmen and TV personalities.

It is alleged that before finding fame in the WWE, Ashley – who had previously posed in Playboy under the pseudonym Mackenzie Ryan – was one of those charging big bucks for her company.

The FBI had been monitoring Michelle Braun’s emails for at least three years, before finally raiding her property and shutting down the operation in October 2007.

In one correspondence, the Madam justified her business saying: “All I do is make the introductions between famous girls and rich guys who want to meet them.

“I think the rates I charge are justified just to meet these women, even if nothing happens.”

Further emails revealed that some of her escorts offered “fetish” and “girlfriend” services.

Ashley, who also recently starred on American reality TV show Survivor, immediately denied she was ever an escort in her MySpace blog.

Her bosses at the WWE have not commented, but prowrestling.net’s Jason Powell has criticised the recent string of allegations surrounding the group’s employees.

He says: “Does anyone else find it odd that a publicly traded company that is marketing to children via on-air programming and the films division currently employs an accused racist, an alleged high-paid escort, and a guy who may or may not have left a shoebox filled with syringes and drugs behind in a house?

“I’m sure this stuff happens at Disney all the time, though.

“It may surprise you to learn that the overwhelming majority of industry sources I’ve spoken with do not believe that Ashley Massaro should be fired if the Rolling Stone allegations are truthful.”

So if you are in Shanghai feeling lonely or depressed, I would suggest you go and try this with some of your Chinese friends. I have always imaged old, wealthy, and perverted businessmen going about this sort of thing but I am 25 and I had a great time nonetheless, without the sex. The cost for this is a little steep, it typically costs at least $100 USD if you include the drinks and snacks for a night.
